Feeling the Vibe

How Frequency Shapes Our Energy, Health, and Spirit

Ever walk into a room and feel like something’s off—even if nobody said a word? Like the air’s thick, your chest gets tight, or on the flip side, it feels like a weight’s been lifted off your shoulders. Welcome to my world! That’s not just you being moody. That’s frequency, baby! And it’s real.

Everything around us is made of energy. I’m talking about your grandma’s antique mirror, your dog’s tail wag, that one song that gives you chills, and even your emotions. All of it is vibrating at its own rhythm. That vibration? It creates a frequency. And guess what? You’re tuning into it whether you know it or not. On a side note, I like to listen to sad music before readings because it prepares me for that frequency.

So, What Is Frequency, anyway?

Scientifically, frequency is how often something vibrates in a second. It’s measured in hertz (Hz). But I’m not here to bore you with textbook definitions, I’m here to break it down Jersey-style: Your body, your thoughts, your feelings, they’re all broadcasting a signal. High vibes like love, gratitude, and joy? They ring high on the frequency scale. But fear, grief, anger? They’re like dead air on an AM station—low and static-filled. Do you know that earthbound spirits are on a low frequency and even considered equal to brown noise. (That’s for another article)

As my friend Tony Rathman, a badass paranormal researcher and ITC pioneer, puts it: “You don’t need to hear frequency to feel it. Your energy field already knows when it’s out of tune,” because your gut is smarter than you think. Hence, the saying “gut feeling” It’s a real thing.

From your brainwaves to your heartbeat, your body is a walking, talking tuning fork. When you’re deep asleep, your brain hums in delta waves (super low, around 0.5–4 Hz). In a meditative trance or when spirit’s knockin’? That’s theta (4–8 Hz). Trying to crunch numbers and juggle life’s chaos? Hello, beta waves (12–30 Hz).

Some researchers even say sickness happens when your frequency tanks. That’s why sound healing, like crystal bowls, tuning forks, and binaural beats, isn’t just woo-woo anymore. It’s real. It helps raise your frequency and get your energy back in check.

Sound Is Sacred and always has been. Ancient civilizations were way ahead of the curve. Indigenous drumming (my favorite), Egyptian temples built to amplify chants—those weren’t just cultural quirks. They knew sound held power. Fast forward to today, and we’ve rediscovered the Solfeggio frequencies. These aren’t just pretty tones—they’re said to heal on a deep, even cellular level.

Ever hear of 528 Hz? It’s called the “Love Frequency,” and it’s believed to help with healing and even DNA repair. (I’m listening to it right now as I write) Other powerhouse tones like 396 Hz (goodbye fear and guilt) or 963 Hz (hello, intuition and pineal activation) are now being blasted in meditation playlists, healing sessions, and even paranormal investigations. Frequency is more than sound. It’s the invisible force that connects your body, your spirit, and the energy of the world around you. Whether you’re trying to heal, manifest, or just survive another chaotic week, don’t forget: your frequency is your foundation. So, tune in, turn up the vibe, and trust your gut.

Frequencies are all around us. They shape our experiences, influence our emotions, and may even hold the key to other dimensions. Whether you’re looking to heal, connect with the other side, or simply feel more in tune with your environment, understanding frequency is a powerful first step.

Because once you learn to listen—not just with your ears, but with your intuition—you may discover that the universe has been speaking to you all along.

Here are a few of my personal ways to raise my vibration

(Remember, love is the highest frequency)

1. Gratitude – Just 60 seconds of heartfelt thanks can raise your vibration.

2. Listen to Solfeggio Tones – Play 528 Hz in the background while working or resting. I use Spotify.

3. Declutter Your Space – CLUTTER CAUSES CAOS!!! Physical clutter holds stagnant energy.

4. Hydrate with Intention – Please do not think I’m crazy, but I speak into my coffee every morning because that is my first drink of the day. Water carries vibration. Charge it with affirmations before drinking.

5. Surround Yourself with Uplifting People – Energy is contagious. Protect yours. If need be clean your friends list or put the Debbie downers in a time out until they learn to raise their vibrations and stop sucking your good energy.
