Trinity Paranormal

In 2018, a paranormal team called Trinity Paranormal Investigations of Long Island, or TPILI, was formed in the suburbs of Long Island, New York. This faith-based team primarily focuses on assisting people who are experiencing unexplained phenomena in their homes. Once a detailed assessment and interview with the clients are completed, they will then move on to researching the historical background. Afterward, a date will be scheduled to visit the location and conduct an initial investigation using scientific tools commonly employed in paranormal research. If activity is confirmed, they will set another date to conduct a full assessment of the location. TPILI prides itself on doing everything possible to help families overcome the mental anguish caused by these unnatural disturbances using an old-school style of paranormal investigating and psychic senses.

Meet the team:

Kat Maria – Lead Investigator, a third-generation professional in the field, brings a unique blend of inherited techniques and the ability to sense spirits, enabling her to provide solutions for homeowners. She explained, “Our process begins with meticulously documenting a detailed questionnaire for private residences or businesses. We then apply scientific methods to investigate living, deceased, and unseen energies. We utilize an array of advanced tools such as I.T.C. equipment, various EMF devices, touch sensors, voice recorders, and even some traditional methods to detect paranormal activity.” Kat Maria emphasized, “Our primary aim is to bring peace to all those with concerns by uncovering the truth behind paranormal activities.”

Kat says that as a child, she was able to see spirits in her house that other family members could not see.  This added to her curiosity as she got older and led her into the field of the paranormal.

Phil Maas – in partnership with Kat Maria, co-founded this team with careful planning and organization. Maas’s musical talents have contributed to the audio reviews. Although he is no longer an active member, he will still occasionally help with technical issues behind the scenes.”

Chris Nuara – Lead Investigator & Tech Specialist, joined TPILI in 2019. He grew up in a haunted home in Queens, NY, which inspired his mission to assist others who have had similar paranormal experiences. “I’ve been researching the paranormal all my life and decided to join a team in 2019 to help people who are dealing with the same issues I faced as a child.”

Courtney Petersen – has been a team member for the past five years, serving as their social media specialist, historian, and case manager. “After a personal experience, I sought to find answers about the afterlife, and I try to do everything in my power to help clients and be the voice of the spirits one EVP at a time.”  Courtney is a pillar in the paranormal community and is loved by many. She always offers her time to help others promote their content and is a part-time problem solver to the paranormal community.

Martha Teramo – is a team investigator and cleansing assistant. Martha is an original team member. As a child, she witnessed adults engaging in the dark arts and began to observe unusual activity around her, which led her to become a believer in the paranormal. She believes that her faith kept her spiritually safe, making her an amazing team member during our case cleansings.

Every so often, Trinity Paranormal  are asked to assist families with more than just addressing strange noises and mysterious movements in their homes. These accounts are seldom shared beyond their group, but I was able to convince them to disclose one of their intriguing cases to me.

A notable case took place in Long Island when a family sought help from the team after experiencing unusual activity in their home. During their initial assessment, it was revealed that a family member had been missing for over twenty years and was never heard from again. The situation took an unusual turn when it was later discovered that the case turned into a missing person investigation and was eventually ruled a murder by local officials.

At the beginning of the investigation, Kat, an experienced investigator, always felt drawn to a particular part of the house after hearing the story of the missing loved one. This area eventually proved to be where skeletal remains were found, despite an excavation team being called in by another family member. The excavation team used a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to detect objects buried underground. However, Kat insisted that they were in the wrong spot and directed them to another nearby area, which turned out to be the actual location of the remains.

In these instances, the involvement of psychics and paranormal teams proved to be pivotal in the investigation of missing person cases.

The team regularly shares compelling evidence and captivating stories from their latest investigations, which often take place in renowned haunted locations. They primarily dedicate their efforts to assisting families with residential cases. What truly distinguishes this team is their authentic motivation. They are not driven by the desire for fame or recognition, and they refrain from filming or participating in paranormal conventions. Instead, their focus lies on disseminating their discoveries to fellow investigators.
